Whitetop Station. This is where is all begins when you ride the Virginia Creeper Trail. I love this bike ride! You get to coast down hill criss-crossing a spectacular trout stream, eat chocolate cake at Taylor's Valley, see O. Winston Link prints at Green Cove (and whatever else happens to be in the gallery at the time), eat lunch under the big trestle, hob-nob with thru-hikers in Damascus, eat more goodies in Alvarado, relax at a winery, and . . .and . . .take lost of pictures, of course, because it's just so picturesque!
