Taking pictures on this pristine fall day was an effort in futility. The camera just doesn't do it justice. But just so you will know that I tried, here are some happy snaps of a day well spent with Amos in Wythe County at Big Walker Mountain.
The road to the Big Bend picnic area (seen in the picture above)was just like driving through a kaleidoscope!
This was just minutes before the sun winked goodbye . . .

Oh my gosh!!! Im just itching with jealousy looking at these! Jealous for those gorgeous golden leaves and for that gorgeous Amos :) These were such a delight to look at. Im sure going to miss seasons being here in Monterey :( See you sooo soon.
