Think It Over

Signs of Spring Jigsaw PuzzleSigns of Spring Jigsaw Puzzle
We've not heard one little peep out of "Baby Think-It-Over" since Saturday morning. I can't begin to tell you what an enormous disappointment this has been for Agape who has looked forward all year to blissful motherhood for the weekend. Baby goes back to school tomorrow.

Like any proud momma, Agape loves to share her pride and joy with all her friends.
. . . Even if the sharing has to be virtual. Here we are video chatting with Amy.
Now this just offends ALL of my La Leche League sensibilities!!!! (Not to mention that the teachers sent this baby home with only a bottle, even though they are engineered for nursing as well.) Somebody at church gave the candy to baby . . . and you know what happens if you try to take candy away from a baby!

Stone Mountain Hike

Leap Year Jigsaw PuzzleLeap Year Jigsaw Puzzle

As promised, here is a travelogue of our day hiking at
Stone Mountain State Park in Roaring Gap, NC. It's about 4.5 miles up, over, down, and around the mountain which is a 600' high dome of granite lying just below the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Agape, the dedicated little mother, carried Baby Think-It-Over in her sling the whole time. She wouldn't accept any offers to help.
The stone is so white, it looks like snow in the sunshine.

Unfortunately, the day was marred by tragedy. A young man ignored the many warnings and lost his life falling down the waterfall while we were there.

Here is the west face of Stone Mountain in all of its sunset glory. That black speck to the right of the large crack about midway up is a climber.

Happy Ressurection Day!

Here's some more pics from the egg hunt last Thursday. Sorry I don't have a puzzle for you tonight; Jigzone is down for maintenance. Next time I will write about our hike at Stone Mountain State Park yesterday, and give you progress notes on Baby Think-It-Over's visit.

The Big Day for Agape

Counting Your eggs Jigsaw PuzzleCounting Your eggs Jigsaw Puzzle
The months and months of anticipation are finally over. This day of dreams come true is more wonderful than Christmas and birthdays combined. Baby "Think it Over" has finally arrived!!! Agape lives for this moment the entire year. As always, there had to be a welcoming committee on hand to greet the new arrival. And, since it is Easter, we had an egg hunt, too.

Counting down the days until Baby's arrival.
Here's she comes!!

Could the new mom possibly be any happier?!?!

The most diligent egg-hunter of them all!

A Taxing Job

Click to Mix and Solve

Well, it's going to be boring around here because I am having to buckle down for the task of doing our taxes, which right now is requiring me to enter over a year's worth of transactions into Quicken. UGH!!! How I loath this job! But on the bright side, looking over all the receipts for our great trip out west brought back some lovely memories; Antelope Canyon being one of the best!

Pixar

For those of you who were curious enough to ask, Pixar is my new, poseable bathtub reading light.

It's been a disturbing day for me, so I think I'll just go curl up in the tub with Pixar right now.
