June really is "bustin' out all over" up here. It's the most glorious time of the year! The the fields and woods are earnest in their lush greeness, the air is heavy with the sweet perfume of honeysuckle. All the doors and windows are wide open. I can listen to the song of the birds and the kitties can come and go without nagging me. And best of all, I can share whole days in beautiful, peaceful places with friends like I did yesterday at Paw-Paw's down on the New River.
