Speaking of spring, the crab apples and redbuds have burst into bloom. It is quite a sight set against the banks of forsythia along I-81. Sorry, no pics of that; I was driving.

Spring Day on the New River
Today, I went exploring on my way home from Blacksburg, and found the McCoy boat landing. Back in a previous lifetime at Radford College, I always heard of tubing on the New River at McCoy and longed to go there. At long last, I can say that I have been there, though not tubing! It's a pleasant place to enjoy a spring day.
