Mt. Rogers Jigsaw Puzzle
A couple of days ago, I introduced you to one of my favorite haunts and hiking places, Grayson Highlands State Park. Grayson Highlands is home to Mt. Rogers, the blue dome in this shot. Mt Rogers is the highest peak in Virginia, and is a unique little micro-climate that is similar to the climate and eco-system of Nova Scotia, more than 800 miles north of here. I'll tell you more about this hike later. Perhaps I will be inspired to finish editing those shots and make a slideshow, too, after the clamor for more prom pictures dies down.
