Special Ride Jigsaw PuzzleIt's not all blood, sweat, and tears at the Special Olympics (well, except this year, it was all sweat!), there's also lots of fun and games at the "Olympic Village." They have big moonwalk jumping things, a petting zoo, live entertainment, and games outside. Inside, there are clowns, displays, photo buttons, free health screenings, and the Olympics store. Usually, I have lots of shots of the outdoor play, but not this year: TOO HOT!!
About midday, hundreds of bikers come roaring through to cheer the athletes on.

The moment I saw the photograph of your smiling, happy daughter, I was reminded of a line from one of my favorite movies, "Serenity," when one of the characters remarks to a beautiful woman, "Now there's the smile made of sunlight." And so it is. Lovely, lovely picture.
