Fenced in Flowers Jigsaw PuzzleAT last! A day without thunderstorms! It was perfect for our leisurely bike ride on the New River Trail today. Yesterday, Our hiking was curtailed by rain, but not before we found the letterbox at Cumberland Knob. Here are some pictures from that short hike:
The wild rhododendron is in full bloom around here now. The Blue Ridge Parkway is sandwitched between banks of dusky blue-green shrubbery dripping with clusters of pale pink and white blossoms.
How can it be that buds this pink . . .
become flowers this white??
